This is from my devotional - well actually it's Craig's, his mom gave it to him, but I stole it. :)

In order to hear my voice, you must release all your worries into My care. Entrust in Me everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek My face unhindered. Let Me free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in My presence, allowing My light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you.

Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that I am sovereign over your life. Rejoice in this day that I have made, trusting that I am abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, thank Me in all circumstances. Trust Me and don't be fearful; thank Me and rest in My sovereignty.

1 Peter 5:(5)6-7
Younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (8) Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (9) But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by our brethren who are in the world. (10) After you have suffered for a little while, the God of grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

God is speaking - I guess He always does when I'm still enough to listen. Sunday's sermon was on being blessed (I am in so many ways), broken (the last year at VCIS, along with so many other life issues definitely broke me) and then being multiplied... Is there where I am now? The charter was turned in on Tuesday. I don't know where God is leading me, if it's a permanent position with Valley Life Charter Schools, or elsewhere. All I know is HE IS leading me....

Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

1 Thes 5:18 -21 Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for all you have blessed me with. Thank you for my husband, my family, the work you gave my hands to do. Father if it's your will we move, then I pray that you move mountains. Jesus, draw me close to you - closer than I ever thought possible.

I wonder how it will feel to stand in front of our amazing, all powerful, all knowing God, and have him question me? When my life is lined up next to Jesus' life - I fall so incredibly short....

Log Entry

Daily Note: Today was tiring. My run was great but it wore me out. I was only able to do 25 minutes of the yoga. Kind of surprised me Looking forward to a short run tomorrow along with legs back and abs. Ouch I'm feeling pretty good ,sore but good. Hopefully the scale or tape shows some progress in the morning.

Nutrition

1850 Calories My other page says I get 1300 calories a day. Earned over 700 working out but ate 1847. I'm 200 under for the day. Feel really good about fuel today.

P90X Yoga X Status: Completed Only made it through 25 minutes. Tough workout will try more later maybe

The God that created the universe, also created me. Not only did He create me, He desires to have a relationship with me. When ever I've gone through a time of solitude, no dating, no significant other, no husband, I have felt a desire to have that type of intimate relationship with someone. It's how those of us known as people are created - to be loved and to love..... That same innate desire that is with in me - that longing....is the same desire God has for us. I am nothing but a speck, and God STILL has that desire to have fellowship with me.

A new look

I hope to keep this up to date, although those that know me, know it might be a challenge.

So much has gone on in the last year, but God is faithful! I have a wonderful new job, developing a Charter School. I am in awe and humbled that God would give me this opportunity! I am also amazed as I see things come together. People come out of the wood work - wanting to be a part of what God is doing!
