Psalm 19:1-14 NIV
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
Thank you lord for your word and refreshing me.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward. But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord , my Rock and my Redeemer.
Lord, thank you for your word and for answered prayer! Thank you for drawing Craig to me, and asking to pray with me. YOU know my heart and you have refreshed it today!

psalm 72. blessed be the name of the lord. its hard to be a visionary because you have all of these things in your heart how it should be, but are always faced with the reality of how it is. david struggled, God told him what would be - but he couldn't always see it.

Hopefull

Something to consider

How does God use our praise as a double edge sword? I'm not sure how this works, but I know I am supposed to think upon good noble things , how much more effective may my witness to if I speak of these things and season everything with praise? I have to praise God in my mind first in order to get out of the funk I feel I am in. Especially the marital funk. Maybe Craig and I are supposed to praise God together. Actually I am sure we should. Lord lead him. Lead me. I feel that I have to lead in many ways and I am tired. Thank you God that you know my heart. Please give me a heart of thanksgiving and praise.

They didn't get it

Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed, for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.
These people were WITH Jesus yet they didn't get it. No wonder people today have such a hard time understanding Him! Vivid reminder to pray for the lost by asking God to send his spirit to open their eyes.
